Company Accounts in MoltSets

MoltSets accounts are organized by company, not by individual user, so everyone on your team shares one account instead of creating duplicates. Learn how account ownership works and what happens if you try to sign up when your company already has one.

MoltSets accounts are organized by company, not by individual user. Each company has a single account, shared by everyone at that company, tied to your email domain. This keeps your team's data, credits, and settings in one place instead of scattered across duplicate accounts.

MoltSets enforces one account per company domain. This is a strict limit with no exceptions — regardless of team size, department, or business reason, a second account cannot be created for a domain that already has one.

How your company account is identified

When you sign up, we check your email domain. If no one at your company has verified an account yet, you'll become the account owner and can invite teammates later. If your company already has a verified account, you won't create a second one — instead, you'll be guided through a request to join the existing account. There is no way to bypass this and create a separate account for the same domain, even temporarily.

Requesting to join an existing account

If your domain already has an account, here's what happens when you sign up:

  1. You'll see a message letting you know an account already exists for your company.

  2. Verify your email. We'll send you a verification link to confirm the request is really coming from you. This link is valid for one hour — if it expires, you'll need to sign up again to get a new one. If you sign up using Google, this step is skipped automatically since your email is already verified.

  3. Your account owner is notified. Once you're verified, your company's account owner receives a notification and can review your request from their dashboard under Account.

  4. You'll get a status page. While you wait, you can check your request status any time, and you'll see a way to reach support directly from that page if you need to.

  5. You'll be notified of the outcome:

    • Approved: You'll get an email with a link to log in and start using the shared account.

    • Denied: You won't receive an email for this — if your request is denied, you'll see a message the next time you try to log in. If you believe this was a mistake, speak with your colleagues directly. If your request is denied, that email address can't submit another request for this domain but can be added manually by the administrator in the future.

Managing users on your account

Once you're part of a company account, anyone with access can view pending join requests and manage existing users from the Account page in the dashboard.
